Physician Oversight

All physical medicine and rehabilitation services at Longevity Medical Institute are developed and medically overseen by Dr. Beatriz Montes de Oca, MD, Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, ensuring the highest standards of clinical safety, evidence-based care, and patient-centered outcomes.

Dr. Beatriz Montes de Oca, MD
Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

Dr. Montes de Oca helps patients move better, feel stronger, and get back to living fully. As Chief of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Longevity Medical Institute, she brings years of hands-on experience and advanced training to help people recover from injuries, surgeries, and neurological conditions. Whether someone is dealing with everyday back pain or trying to recover after a stroke, she creates personalized care plans that combine the latest medical technology with a whole-body, regenerative approach.

Dr. Montes de Oca works closely with our team of regenerative medicine doctors, diagnostics specialists, and cellular therapy experts to give patients the most complete and effective care possible. She treats a wide range of conditions—from joint and muscle pain, nerve problems, and sleep issues, to more complex concerns like Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and recovery after brain or spine surgery. Many of her patients come to her after months or years of pain, and finally find relief through her combination of precision diagnostics, targeted therapy, and collaborative support.

She earned her medical degree from the prestigious Escuela Superior de Medicina at IPN, completed specialty training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at UNAM, and completed a competitive subspecialty in Electrodiagnostic Medicine at Mexico’s top rehabilitation institute. She holds international certification in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) from Amsterdam, and is certified in advanced techniques like shockwave therapy, perineural therapy, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and neuromodulation.

Dr. Montes de Oca uses advanced tools like ultrasound-guided EMG and nerve conduction studies to understand what’s really going on in the body—then applies the right therapy to restore comfort and movement. Her treatments may include shockwave therapy, targeted injections, TMS, and neuro-cognitive retraining to improve balance, coordination, and brain-body function. For patients with stroke—caused by a vascular event that affects the brain—she helps rebuild strength, mobility, and cognitive health through individualized rehabilitation plans.

What truly sets Dr. Montes de Oca apart is her ability to meet patients wherever they are—whether they’re recovering from surgery, struggling with long-term pain, or simply trying to feel like themselves again. She listens, evaluates thoroughly, and builds a care plan that actually works. Her goal is simple: help people move forward, with less pain and more confidence.

Innovative Therapies

Innovative Therapies

Rehabilitation at LMI integrates advanced techniques and modern technologies to support recovery and functional performance:

  • Shockwave Wellness Therapy – supports healthy circulation and mobility
  • Perineural Support Therapy – designed to promote nerve comfort and natural signaling
  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) – supports cognitive performance and neuro wellness
  • Neuromodulation – helps optimize nerve communication for comfort and mobility
  • Neuro-Cognitive Retraining – supports coordination and communication between the brain and body

Traditional rehabilitation often focuses on short-term symptom relief. At LMI, we take a multidimensional wellness approach—assessment, regenerative support, and functional retraining—helping individuals experience improved mobility, balance, and long-term vitality.
