Dr. Antonio Flores Morgado is a distinguished interventional cardiologist with extensive expertise in advanced cardiovascular diagnostics, minimally invasive heart procedures, and preventive cardiology. With over 15 years of clinical experience, he is recognized for his commitment to innovation, patient-centered care, and excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart conditions.
Dr. Flores earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Veracruzana, one of Mexico’s leading medical universities, and completed his specialization in Clinical Cardiology at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He subsequently pursued a High Specialty in Interventional Cardiology at Centro Médico Nacional 20 de Noviembre (ISSSTE), a premier national referral center for cardiovascular care.
He is certified by the Mexican Board of Cardiology and holds advanced training in minimally invasive heart procedures, including aortic valve replacement (TAVI), closure of the left atrial appendage to prevent stroke, and artery plaque removal using the Rotablator system. Dr. Flores is an active member of several leading international organizations, including the American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology.
