Dr. Patricia Laguna, MD

Dr. Patricia Laguna is a physician with advanced training in sleep medicine, internal medicine, neurology, and emergency care. She brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to the evaluation and treatment of sleep-related and neurological conditions, with a focus on improving recovery, cognitive performance, energy, and overall quality of life.

Dr. Laguna earned her medical degree from the University of Guadalajara and completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She later pursued advanced clinical training in Neurology at the National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery and Hospital Civil de Guadalajara. She also holds the distinction of International Diplomat in Sleep Medicine through the Mexican Society for Sleep Research and Medicine at Metropolitan Autonomous University and is currently completing her Master of Science in Sleep Medicine.

What uniquely qualifies Dr. Laguna to lead In-Residence Medical Services is the breadth of her clinical experience across emergency medicine, intensive care, neurology, and outpatient care. This diverse background allows her to deliver high-level, physician-led care across a wide range of patient needs, whether in the clinic or in the comfort and privacy of the home. She previously served as an emergency room and ICU physician at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Los Cabos.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Laguna is known for her empathy, sound clinical judgment, and clear communication with patients and their families. As Chief of Sleep Medicine, Clinical Neuroscience, and In-Residence Medical Services, she helps advance Longevity Medical Institute’s commitment to personalized, high-quality care through both sleep-focused services and select in-home medical support.
