Comprehensive Preventive Heart Assessment
Why Most Heart Screenings Miss Early Disease
Most cardiovascular evaluations focus on just one aspect of heart health. But heart disease develops through multiple pathways, and it can progress silently for years.
- Plaque may be building inside the coronary arteries.
- Inflammation may be quietly damaging blood vessels.
- The heart muscle may be undergoing subtle structural changes.
- Electrical abnormalities may be developing long before a routine exam would catch them.
No single test can evaluate all of these factors. That’s why we combine multiple advanced technologies into one integrated assessment designed to examine every major dimension of heart health.
The Five Dimensions of Cardiovascular Health
1. Biological Risk — Advanced Cardiovascular Biomarkers
Our laboratory assessment evaluates key markers tied to plaque formation, inflammation, cardiac stress, metabolic dysfunction, and inherited risk — often years before symptoms develop. Key biomarkers include:
• Lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]
• Apolipoprotein B (ApoB)
• Apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1)
• ApoB/ApoA1 Ratio
• High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP)
• NT-proBNP
• Homocysteine
• Insulin & HOMA-IR
• Hemoglobin A1c
2. Coronary Artery Health — 128-Slice Coronary CT Imaging
One of the most powerful tools in preventive cardiology is the ability to visualize coronary artery disease directly, before symptoms occur. Through our advanced imaging network, patients may be evaluated using state-of-the-art 128-slice coronary CT technology (Siemens SOMATOM Perspective), which produces highly detailed images of the coronary arteries.
Unlike lab testing, coronary CT lets physicians see whether plaque is already developing in the arteries that supply blood to the heart.
Coronary Artery Calcium Scoring measures calcified plaque and provides an objective assessment of coronary artery disease burden. Even people with normal cholesterol and no symptoms can have developing plaque — calcium scoring can identify it years before a heart attack.
Coronary CT Angiography allows physicians to evaluate:
• Coronary plaque burden
• Arterial narrowing and stenosis
• Coronary anatomy
• Early atherosclerosis
• Future cardiovascular risk
For many patients, coronary CT provides the earliest objective evidence of cardiovascular disease. The same scan can also support additional findings, including lung and structural assessment.
3. Heart Muscle Health — AI-Enhanced Cardiac MRI
While coronary CT evaluates the arteries supplying the heart, cardiac MRI evaluates the heart muscle itself. It’s one of the most advanced non-invasive cardiovascular imaging technologies available, and it reveals information that coronary imaging alone cannot. Cardiac MRI can assess:
• Heart muscle structure
• Ventricular function
• Ejection fraction
• Cardiac output
• Myocardial inflammation
• Fibrosis and scar tissue
• Cardiomyopathies
• Prior silent cardiac injury
• Structural heart disease
Coronary CT shows the arteries. Cardiac MRI shows the heart muscle. Together, they create a more complete picture than either technology alone.
4. Structural & Functional Health — Comprehensive Echocardiography
Echocardiography provides real-time visualization of how the heart performs with every beat. It allows physicians to evaluate:
• Chamber size and structure
• Heart valve function
• Blood flow dynamics
• Ejection fraction
• Diastolic function
• Ventricular hypertrophy
• Overall cardiac performance
Echo helps determine not just whether the heart looks healthy, but how effectively it actually functions.
5. Electrical Health — CADScor®, ECG & Eko CORE 500
The heart is both a mechanical pump and an electrical organ. We combine several technologies to evaluate electrical activity, cardiac acoustics, and subtle indicators of coronary artery disease.
CADScor® — Longevity Medical Institute is among a select group of providers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico offering CADScor®, an award-winning, AI-powered cardiac assessment. It uses acoustic analysis and artificial intelligence to evaluate subtle sounds created by blood flow in the coronary arteries, helping assess the likelihood of coronary artery disease quickly and non-invasively. Benefits include no radiation, no stress testing, no injections, and a fast, comfortable experience.
Mindray 12-Lead ECG — Evaluates heart rhythm, electrical conduction, arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, and evidence of prior ischemia.
Eko CORE 500 with SENSORA™ — A digital stethoscope platform that combines high-resolution cardiac auscultation with AI-assisted analysis to help identify heart murmurs, valve abnormalities, acoustic cardiac changes, and other early findings.

Why Longevity Medical Institute Leads in Preventive Cardiovascular Assessment
Most programs evaluate only one or two aspects of heart health — cholesterol, or imaging, or symptoms after disease has already developed. We evaluate all five dimensions:
✓ Biological Risk
✓ Coronary Artery Health
✓ Heart Muscle Health
✓ Structural & Functional Health
✓ Electrical Activity
By combining advanced biomarkers, Lipoprotein(a) testing, AI-enhanced cardiac MRI, 128-slice coronary CT, CADScor®, ECG, echocardiography, the Eko CORE 500, and physician-led interpretation, we deliver one of the most comprehensive preventive cardiovascular assessments available in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This integrated approach lets us identify risk factors, detect early disease, evaluate cardiac function, and uncover hidden concerns long before symptoms develop — because the most effective treatment for heart disease is identifying risk before it becomes symptomatic.
